PHOTOBJECT|Materiality

The photo-object series explores the relationship between the subject of the photograph and the object being represented. It’s a visual „game” between the materiality of the object and the reality of the image—between appearance and evidence, between what you see and what you believe you see.

Here, the image support plays a crucial role: an object made of metal is printed on a metal plate; one made of wood is printed on wood (plywood). This creates an engaging interplay of perception, scale distortion, and trompe l’oeil ambiguity—inviting the viewer to reconsider the boundaries between image and object.
